Mighty Pullers, Reliable Recall & Crate Fun
Outdoor Class
Many students enroll in one of our regular classes, as well as this speciality class, which is only offered during the “good weather” months. It is a popular class with both puppies and adult dogs alike.
In this class, as a group, you will all learn how to take your dog for a loose leash walk, while enjoying our expansive acreage. Perhaps a walk around the ponds to start off your class, especially inviting for both you and your dog. Learn how to get your dog to heel in the real outdoors, and amongst other dogs. Training will take place outdoors in our fully fenced 100 x 200 grass training field. Come prepared for any kind of weather.
In this class you will also learn how to teach a reliable recall. It’s more involved than you might think! If you have a dog that doesn’t come when called, this class is for you! You will be able to perform off lead recalls in a large, distracting, yet safe enviroment. No Reactive Dogs*… please.
We will also be showing you how to make Fido’s crate a wonderful place to be. We will show you how to make going into the crate a game, a celebration, a happy place. Crates are extremely valuable in the home envrioment, and all dogs should travel in the safety of a crate while riding in a vehicle.
Students must bring their dog’s crates to class. The doors of the crate should be the removable type. No soft crates, plastic vari-kennels are the best. Be prepared to learn how to use a clicker as well, this class is action packed! Come prepared for all types of weather, rain or shine this class is outdoors for the spring, summer and fall.

Mighty Puller classes are one hour in length and run for 6 weeks. Cost $135 (hst included).
