I am truly delighted with these new videos. I LOVE them! The concepts you present and the upbeat way you present them are excellent. Anyone can teach basic behavior and get it on cue. That’s the easy part. But teaching “engagement” is where so many teams run into a brick wall. These DVDs focus on building the motivational handler/dog relationship that leads to excellent ring carryover.

I purchased the DVDs about a fortnight ago. I love them, especially all the proofing you do. I believe if I stared this earlier I wouldn’t have the problems I have with Kiah now. After watching your DVDS I have decided I must work with her in short bursts and to play with her and make it fun before putting her in the environment of the ring again. Thank you for sharing!

I brought them to work today, going to watch more at lunch. I LOVE them. They really get down to the details that I love to know about. The finer points that make all the difference. I was watching the heeling segment with the first golden and to the “average” eye she was doing great, but you pointing out the finer points of her focus, etc.. . . great stuff! I’m going to get some of those taller cones too, b/c I can see how they help position the dog on the turns, etc. Getting the dog’s rear in.
You motivational session with Louie was so neat. Loved it! That’s how I like to train. These DVDs are just what I need to keep ME motivated.

Thank you so very much for providing a complete training program for obedience. I love all the foundation work with dogs, it makes reaching the end goal attainable and fun for both the handler and the dog. Too many focus on going right into the formal heeling instead of laying the foundation work, resulting in frustration for both the handler and the dog. I was especially impressed at how you continually set your dogs up for success! My dogs also thank you as they are already enjoying the foundation games (my dogs range in age from 3-14 and they all take turns training!).
Very impressive work with Raisin and Stanley, we really enjoy watching the videos and your wonderful dogs working. Congratulations on all of your accomplishments with your dogs; your dedication and hard work shows in their pure enjoyment working with you.

The content of the video is EXACTLY what competitors like myself are looking for!! I could go on and on! The organization of the material in the video is extremely well done! You have exactly the right balance between talking and demonstrating. I LOVE how you explain the progression to achieve an end. I just love seeing a genuine connection between the dog and handler, and that connection is so apparent in your video.

I picked up the DVD on Friday and watched part of disc one that night…just amazing! I’ve attended classes with several different instructors but I have never seen anything as thorough as that which you presented. I was pretty astounded to see you demonstrate with Raisin in the seminar and already a convert, however when I saw you do the segment with an 8 week old Raisin, I just about fell out of my chair.
I have all sorts of training DVDs and none of them gave me as much information in as short a time as yours. I’ve been raving about it to everyone I’ve met since, congratulations on a very, very good product, I’m certain it will do well. Please, if you could, put me on your mailing list so that I can enroll in up coming seminars.
